Health Education England working across Kent, Surrey & Sussex (HEEKSS) are committed to developing the Primary Care Workforce Resilience Service so as to ensure all Practice Managers/Practice Nurses/GPs entering General Practice or at any later point in their careers can take advantage of this essential professional development service.

Facilitators...

  • ... offer confidential listening by a respected peer in protected time.
  • ... offer feedback, challenge and support where appropriate.
  • ... may help their Service Users to look at boundaries between professional and personal life and will demonstrate unconditional positive regard.

Taking part in the Primary Care Workforce Resilience Service as a Service User may be of particular benefit to you if you are one of the following:

  • A Practice Manager/Practice Nurse/General Practitioner entering General Practice for the first time in your professional career,
  • A Practice Manager/Practice Nurse/General Practitioner who feels you have reached a point in your career in General Practice where thoughtful reflection on development and future opportunities would be helpful,
  • A Practice Manager/Practice Nurse/General Practitioner who is making rapid progress in your career development and wish to explore your higher professional expectations,
  • A Practice Manager/Practice Nurse/General Practitioner who has arrived at an important professional or personal crossroads and where a mentoring relationship would be helpful in moving you forward,
  • A Practice Manager/Practice Nurse/General Practitioner who feels you may not be meeting your own professional potential and wish to explore your concerns in a supportive, non-judgemental and confidential environment.
