Information for Primary Care Workforce Resilience Facilitators

 A chance to use your skills, experience and enthusiasm to support others to fulfil their potential.

Facilitators: -

  • Offer confidential listening by a respected peer in protected time.
  • Offer feedback, challenge and support where appropriate.
  • May help their Service Users to look at boundaries between professional and personal life and will  demonstrate unconditional positive regard.   

Areas of potential benefit through the Primary Care Workforce Resilience Service: -

  • All Practice Managers/Practice Nurses/General Practitioners who are entering General Practice for the first time in their professional career.
  • Practice Managers/Practice Nurses/General Practitioners who feel they have reached a point in their careers in General Practice where thoughtful reflection on development and future opportunities would be helpful.
  • Practice Managers/Practice Nurses/General Practitioners who are making rapid progress in their career development and want to explore their higher professional expectations.
  • Practice Managers/Practice Nurses/General Practitioners who have arrived at an important professional or personal crossroads and where an advisory relationship would be helpful in moving them forward.
  • Practice Managers/Practice Nurses/General Practitioners who feel they may not be meeting their own professional potential and wish to explore their concerns in a supportive non-judgemental and confidential relationship.
